2 Day Chimpanzees Trekking in Nyungwe Forest

Your driver-guide will pick you up at your hotel in Kigali and at 6 Am drive to Nyungwe Forest national park. You will drive through the winding roads through the huge tea fields and get a beautiful view of the hilly green hills that make Rwanda to be called the land of a thousand hills. You will also experience the cornered roads because of the many hills in the country. You will arrive in Nyungwe in the afternoon and connect straight to the park to take on the canopy walk.  This activity is the most exciting activity, you might get a chance to see tree species some of which have excited for decades and centuries. The walk is 70 meters above the ground level and 90 meters long also the platform is above a steep and deep valley trotting across massive forest. back and drive to your lodge for dinner and over night.

Have an Early breakfast, and afterwards, at 5.30AM drive at the park offices for a briefing about the primates and the forest. Afterwards enter into the tropical rain forest searching for the shy chimpanzees in the tree branches. While on this walk, expect to spot other primates like the white and black Columbus, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys and mangabeys. More birds can be spotted in the Nyungwe National Park. After the chimp trek, you will embark your safari vehicle and drive back to Kigali with lunch en-route. Arrive late in the Evening. drop you at your hotel or airport.
